Moment of silence, please.

We just heard last night that one of Christine's friends from Hawaii passed away from cancer. This wasn't really a shock for us because Christine had been in contact with her friend for the past 2 years now on this. When her friend was diagnosed with cancer 2 years ago, the doctor said he may have another 6 months left. Fortunately, her friend was able to enjoy another 2 years with his family and kids. While we were on our Hawaii vacation a few weeks ago, Christine had heard that her friend was moved from the hospital back to his home. He could no longer walk. It was simply just a matter of time. Christine's friend finally passed away on August 30. My heart goes out to his family in Hawaii.

Time is what we are all fighting against nowadays. There's never enough time to do this or that in all of our daily lives. I have to remind myself to appreciate what I have (especially my family, wife, and kids) and enjoy life to its fullest everyday. This sounds like a cliche but are you enjoying your time to its fullest as well? Please help me observe a moment of silence for Christine's friend's family in Hawaii. Thanks!
