I have been preparing and training (10+ weeks) for the Fontana half marathon which took place early this morning. I must say that I am very pleased with my results today! This is a Personal Record for me and I don't think I will ever beat this time again ;) The first 6 miles of this course is all downhill and that is why Fontana is called the fastest half marathon in SoCal. Still, it was a competitive and tough race. The last 2 miles were totally "PAINFUL"!!!

Official time - 1 hour 23 mins 14 seconds.
Average pace - 6 min 22 seconds per mile.

I placed 45th overall and 10th in my age division.
