Mountains2Beach marathon in Ventura

My second Mountains2Beach marathon in the books yesterday in Ventura.  Tough day.  I was on pace to finish with my friend Andrew for a 3:12 finish time up to mile 22.  Then,  I hit the infamous marathon wall.  Had to jog and walk the last 4 miles :(    Ended up finishing 3:17:17. This is a Boston 2018 qualifying time for my age group! This time was about 9 minutes slower than my finish time of 3:08 last year.  My friend Andrew needed a 3:15 finish time to qualify for Boston 2018. Unfortunately, he finished at 3:15:04. Just off by 4 seconds.
