HEAT in Irvine

Just got home from the office and outside temperature showed 93F! Weather report says tomorrow will be even hotter! Yahoo! Now, we are cooking! Great day for the pool. But what's the downside to all this hot spring weather??? You guessed it. Allergies. Quite a few people around including my girls and me are getting the sneezing, wheezing, coughing, and itchy eyes. Where's my Claritin? I wonder if there are certain foods that would act as a substitute for Claritin or antihistamine. Anyone know?
