Painting!
Doing some painting before the real work begins. We hope to get our vanities installed this weekend (by ourselves). Cross your fingers.

Boston just wasn't meant to be
What a disappointing day! The Boston marathon 2011 registration opened this morning at 9am EST. Unfortunately, registration was full after just 8 hours :( I didn't even get the chance to register since I was busy at work today. I was planning to register this evening. Compared to last year, registration didn't fill up until 2 months later. I guess the Boston marathon is really getting popular. Boston 2011 just wasn't meant to be for me....

The remodeling begins!
Poor uncle Lee and auntie Grace. Somehow, they got roped into doing house demolition work during their vacation to SoCal.

City slicker
My horse named Twist. He was very tall compared to all other horses and was quite "chatty" throughout the ride. I was glad I made it back to the ranch alive ;)
Hunewill Ranch in Bridgeport, CA
I spent the past 3 days at an offsite company meeting/event. We went horseback riding and herded cattle. Bridgeport is about an hour north of Mammoth Lakes; or 7 hours driving from Irvine.

St George marathon results
Terrible day for us in the marathon today. Weather in the 60s at the start and high 80s at the finish. Didn't break 3 hours as I had planned. Finished in 3 hours 19 mins. I blew up on the 2nd half of the marathon. Had some stomach problems at mile 16 and then cramped up (right leg) at mile 18. By then, I was done. Nothing else I could do. Could only walk and slow jog. Bad marathon day.

Bryce Canyon
My friend Ken W went on a 47 mile Mtn bike ride up at Bryce Canyon today. Elevation above 7000 feet. Amazing!
View from our rental
Big hill right in front of our rental. This is a sample scenery of St George! Weather will be in the high 90s today!
