2010 New Year Resolutions
Christine is asking our girls to list 12 things they like to improve on for 2010. Then do one improvement each month. Jody is already stuck on March 2010. Our girls said "We are so good, there's nothing else to improve."
What is your new year resolution for 2010? Please share with us!

Twas the night before Christmas...
Christine was busy cooking in the kitchen!!!(wow),
The girls are busy counting all their presents,

Kelly's chinese project on cooking
Kelly's fried rice dish for Chinese school. She needed to do a write up and presentation on how to make it. I helped :)
Puzzle of the day (Jody)
Can you spot what's wrong with this picture? First one to get it right will earn bragging rights for the day! Jody said winner can also sleep in late and be late for work :).

Marathon weekend!
It's another exciting marathon weekend on Sunday Dec 13, 2009. We have 2 family members and friends running marathons in Hawaii and Arizona.
First let's congratulate Russel and Kathleen Honda for finishing another Honolulu marathon! Nice Job! Click on images below to enlarge.
Also, one of Christine's friend, Julie Ng, originally from CA and now lives in Honolulu ran the Honolulu marathon.
Last but not least, one of my good runner friends, Cindy Croft, ran the Tucson Arizona marathon. From what I heard, she tripped over something around mile 14 and fell hard to the ground. She got back up and couldn't get back on pace. This is my friend Cindy's marathon debut and she did very well still with a finishing time of 3 hrs and 30 mins.

Kelly's science plants (final weekend)
Kelly is nearly done with her tomato plants. Using different types of water, there were different growth rates. She won't know the exact numbers until next week.
Our neighbor Marilyn came over yesterday and thought we were growing MJ in the house!

Sacramento(CIM) Marathon Results
Well, I did it! I ran a 3:10:56 (chip time) marathon in Sacramento this morning! Weather was in the low 30's at the start and perfect condition to run a marathon. Thanks to my friend Ken Chai for running with me and my other friend Ken Webb for providing field support! That helped tremendously! I now have qualified for the Boston Marathon (I needed a 3:20 qualifier) and I plan to go to Boston for 2011 (with my family)!
I came into the race with expectations of running a 3:15. But I PR'd with 3:10:56. I am a very happy guy!
